More Activity at the Stables

Following on the recent Companion deck refresh the Mounts have now also been brought up to the new standard of 'narrative design' for card elements.  Every card in the deck has been affected in one way or another by these changes, along with some new arrivals at the Stables.  Below are a few of the more notable changes.
Dispassionate Cow (M002) has been changed to "Affordable Cow" to better reflect its nature as an economy mount for Adventurers on a budget

Well Fed Pig (M005) is now described more accurately as "Rambunctious Pig" to reflect the things it gets into before meals, after meals and in the further pursuit of unscheduled meals. Movement has been upgraded from 5 to 6

Gentle Agiyuba's (M010) Movement has been upgraded from 6 to 7
Big Shaggy Dog's (M012) Movement has been upgraded from 6 to 7
Compassionate Elephant's (M013) Movement has been upgraded from 6 to 7
Battle Hardened Elephant's (M014) Movement has been upgraded from 6 to 7
Wooly Mammoth's (M015) Movement has been upgraded from 6 to 7

What we have all been casually referring to as Ladybug (M020) it turns out, is in fact a rare "Exotic Lady Beetle" which explains why so few have ever been encountered in the wild or even noted in explorer's journals

Merrick finally got around to fixing that squeaky joint on the Undead Horse (M021) which has restored its Movement back up to 8 ...still lower than the days of being a healthy and energetic un-undead horse

Mountain Bear's (M022) Movement has been upgraded from 7 to 8

Adult Caterpillar (M024) has been changed to "Enchanted Caterpillar" now that we finally understand the story, or maybe we should say "legend" behind it

The Sylpheosaur (M032) was abruptly adopted by a group of Goblins who wanted to use it in a music video for something called "you-toob."  Merrick, being a decent sort, tried to caution them about certain gestures that the creature might interpret as an invitation to eat, but that only got them on to practicing their dance moves and making the Sylpheosaur hungry (and more interested in going with them).  Meanwhile, a replacement has come along that many have thought long extinct...

With help from Fessiwig's Apprentice the unique breed of the Grasshopper (M036) has at last been identified.  We are still trying to track down the amazing person who managed to train it, and perhaps unlock further secrets of this mysterious creature

The Well Bred Horse (M040) was adopted by a noble for an upcoming spread in "Noble's Quarterly."  The horse was skeptical at first, until it spied one of those 'behind the scenes' articles and all the horse pampering involved.  Maybe they will be a good fit after all.  Meanwhile, over at the stables a large crowd has already gathered around to get a look at the latest little newcomer

Solid, Reliable Horse (M042) hasn't returned with its rider and they're long overdue.  Merrick only knows that it was a secret mission and he's beginning to worry.  Well, on the lighter side of things, the new arrival has such a personality... playful and intelligent, keen on fish. The other animals are already quite taken with it
